Revenue on Voucher Redemptions
Loving the new customer segments and the recent additions to the platform!
Feature request: revenue values on vouchers.
A voucher can have an optional revenue value + currency, applied by default to all of its redemptions.
The revenue value/currency on an individual redemption can be edited after the fact (to account for refunds, discounted marketplace sales, etc.).
Why: marketplace sales come into Moonbase as voucher redemptions, so they currently carry no revenue. Custom properties work as a stopgap, but they don't feed into customer lifetime value, segments, or automation revenue attribution.
With this, I could sync my Plugin Boutique sales into Moonbase and make it my single source of truth for revenue. I suspect other vendors who sell through marketplaces would get the same value from it.

Hey @Moe Chaieb !
We’ve actually been working on something here, as an alternative to vouchers, you can record (or import) sales with other channels.
See: https://moonbase.sh/docs/api/#record-external-order and https://moonbase.sh/docs/api/#import-order
I think this is a more “correct” way to record sales on other channels, and creates licenses tied to an external purchase, contributing LTV and other events for use in automations and segmentation.
You may be able to import sales after the fact for your situation, but I will get back in touch with the PB guys about a better integration, feel free to also put some pressure!

Interesting, I’ll check this out!
And these will display natively in the Moonbase admin/analytics?
I don’t mind an after-the-fact import for the time being. The PIB guys are so resistant to changing their analytics stack to allow for web hooks or anything. So I’ve sort of given up on that haha.
